Welcome on the trip along the Royal Way, which links the Old Town with some of the most notable institutions in Warsaw. We walk from the Column of the King Zygmunt III Waza and the Royal Castle, which was built in the 14th century as a wooden fortress for the Dukes of Mazovia. A few steps further the church of Saint Anna is placed. It was founded in 15th century by the wife and mother of the Mazovian princes and named after her patron saint. If you want to see the panorana, you can climb the Bell Tower. Then our guide invites you for a walk along Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. (Can you pronounce it?). This is one of the most impressive and prestigious streets of Warsaw. On the way you will see Carmelite Church, having the earliest example of a classical facade in Poland, although the interior is in the Baroque style.

The next point is Namiestnikowski Palace – Polish White House. Once it belonged to Polish aristocratic families, now it functions as the residence of the President. The statue in front is that of Prince Jozef Poniatowski, the nephew of the last King of Poland. Then we will pass by the Wizytki Church, University of Warsaw, Saint Cross Church, which covers an urn with Fryderyk Chopin’s heart. In front there is the Monument of Nicolas Copernicus - the great Polish astronomer. Later we enter fashionable Nowy Swiat (New World) Street being a long collection of upscale shops, cafes, restaurants, and clubs. When you get tired on the way we will take a taxi or hop on a bus and get out at Lazienki Park to see the summer residence of King of Poland – The Palace on the Water.
