If you are fond of mountains landscape and you are interested in folk culture, take the Zakopane (Tatra Mountains) trip. We will show you this wonderful, unspoiled resort with many touches of the past. On the way to Zakopane we will take you to Chocholow – the picturesque village. Most of the houses here seem like something out of Hansel and Gretel. This is typical native architecture – wooden houses with sloping roofs bearing bulks of snow in winter. In one of them you will have a chance to meet a local artist whose house is a small museum and an atelier.

Later we go to Zakopane, located in a picturesque valley at the base of the Tatra. Take a tram up Gubalowka Mountain. If only the weather is good you will be amazed with a breathtaking view stretching on the whole panorama of the Tatra Mountains! Our guide will take you for a short walk by the hogback and you can walk down the hill or take the chairlift down from Butorowy Wierch. We will also lead you to Willa “Koliba”, the first building in the Zakopane style and Jaszczorowka - one of the most beautiful wooden chapels in Poland. In Zakopane you will definitely enjoy Krupowki Street with its cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Take a rest and try highlanders typical food: sour soup, ravioli, pancakes with mushroom sauce and local drink – the highlanders tea! Don’t forget to take a photo, before you go into the car to come back to Cracow.
