Chopin's Life and Music Tour

Fryderyk Chopin You are highly welcome on the private tour Chopin’s Life and Music. We prepared a frame program for your stay, but feel free to change anything you want to.

To create the tour we combined two the most important cities - Warsaw and Cracow and some more places undoubtedly worth to see in Poland.

Chopin was born in Żelazowa Wola about 50 km west of Warsaw. Soon after his birth the family moved to Warsaw. Chopin spent the first 20 years of his life in the capital city. Here he studied music, learned the manners of society and gave his first concerts. Walking the streets of Warsaw you will pass buildings where he stayed or which he visited.

Zelazowa Wola On the second part of the tour we invite you to Cracow. Chopin remembered a trip to Cracow as a cheerful and fruitful holiday jaunt. He wrote in a letter to his friend that a whole week of intense walking and visiting the Cracow area made a powerful impression on him. Chopin definitely many times has been on the Market Square and the nearby parts of the city, admiring the Cloth Hall, St Mary's Church, St Florian's Gate and the Barbican.

Take a chance and go for Chopin Concert - the piano recital in the evening.

The great composer has visited Wieliczka Salt Mine as well. You can see his signature among others signatures of illustrious guests on the reproductions of pages from the visitors' book placed on the display in the museum.

Other spots visited by Chopin are Ojców, Pieskowa Skała you can visit these places as well when you choose Castle and Nature trip.
