
(1968) is a professional boxer. He had wonderful amateur carrier as he won 111 fights. In 1988 he got the bronze medal at the Seul Olimpics. In 1991 he moved with his wife to Chicago. From 1992 he won 38 fights and lost only 4, 31 were knockouts and once he had quit in a fight with Mike Tyson (2000 year). Andrzej Gołota has been involved in many controversial fights.
(1977) is a Polish ski jumper, he is regarded as one of the best ski jumpers in the history. His career started in 1995, when for two consecutive seasons; he was moderately successful in the Ski Jump World Cup. Adam Małysz won four World Cup titles 2001-2003 and 2007, two Olympic medals (silver and bronze from 2002 Salt Lake City) and five World Championship medals (4 gold and 1 silver). He also holds many hill records.

(1984) is the first Polish racing driver to compete in Formula One. He started his career in carting in 1995. In 2001 he took part in the Italian Formula Renault 2000 and by 2003 was competing in Formula 3 Euro series. In 2005 he won the World Series by Renault, which brought him the popularity. He became the official 3rd/test driver for the BMW Sauber F1 Team in 2006 and moved ahead to be a regular driver beginning with the Hungarian GP in the late 2006. In June 2008 he achieved his maiden F1 victory in the unpredictable Canadian Grand Prix, becoming the 99th F1 racer to win a Grand Prix.
Otylia Jedrzejczak(1983) is a Polish swimmer. She is the current world & Olympic champion in the 200 metre butterfly. She took part in the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics, and three times broke the world record in the women's 200 m butterfly (one of these times was in the 25-metre pool).
She won her first titles in the Junior European Championships in 1999. Medals in the Senior European Championships in 1999 & 2000 opened the way to her first Olympic appearance. She was sixteen, when she won two gold medals in Moscow, at the European Championship for Juniors. After one year, in Stambuł, Otylia won brown medal. When she was 18, in Helsinki she earned silver and gold medals.
On 13 December 2007, on her 24th birthday, Otylia broke the World Record for the 200 metre Women's butterfly with a time of 2:03.53
(1983) is a Polish cross country skier who has been competing since 2000. She finished 2nd in the individual Sprint at the 2003 World Junior Championships.
She won the bronze medal in the 30 km freestyle at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin, becoming the first Pole to medal in cross country skiing at the Winter Olympics.
In World Cup 2007 Kowalczyk was 3rd. In 2008 in Canmore, Canada, Justyna Kowalczyk won the race for her second World Cup triumph. She followed in Canmore with two more bronze medals in the same World Cup event.
Recently at the 2009 world championships in Liberec, Kowalczyk won two gold medals, one in the women's pursuit (7.5km classical + 7.5 km free technique), and another one in the 30 km mass start. She also secured a bronze medal in the 10 km classical event. Since 2001 she has won eighteen individual events at various distances of various levels.

(1968) is a former Polish race walker. He has won four gold medals at the Summer Olympics and has won three world championships.
Korzeniowski is a three-peat winner of the 50 km walk at the Summer Olympics. He won 1996 in Atlanta, 2000 in Sydney, and 2004 in Athens. In addition, he became the first athlete to claim both the long distance and the short distance crown, when he won the 20 km title at the 2000 games. He won world championship titles in 1997, 2001, and 2003. He won two times a European Championship in Budapest 1998 and in Munich 2002. He is also the former world record holder in the 50 kilometers race.
He retired after the 2004 Games but is looking to become actively involved in various roles at the International Olympic Committee. Since 2005 he works for Polish Public Television as a chief of sport department and in 2007 he became a General Manager of TVP Sport, a new specialized channel in Poland. He created a new approach for sports in TV by eliminating live broadcast and focusing on history of sports and talk shows about sport.
